flipped a baby stroller

I bought a baby stroller for $5 at a garage sale and sold it for $20.  It had some damage on the handle and had to wipe it up but overall in great condition. It took me about a week to flip and ended up selling it to someone who lived 5 minutes away so it was a very convenient transaction.

Flipped A Garage Sale Carseat

I bought an Eddie Bauer Car seat at a garage sale two weekends ago for $5 and flipped it on Craigslist for $35. That's $30 more than what I got it for which equals to a 700% earning on my investment.  Thank you local garage sales and Craigslist! By the way, I always research the going price on Craigslist and come up with a fair and equitable price before listing.

Flipped A Media Center Shelf

I bought a media center shelf as I call it because not sure what else it would be considered.  I walked around this garage sale that was set up on a driveway and came across this media shelf. It didn't even cross my mind that I would buy it but out of curiosity I touched it as it was unique.  An older woman who was running the yard sale quickly told me it was $10 if I wanted it. She was definitely not someone I could see as an owner who would value such a modern piece of furniture and therefore the reason for the cheap price I guess.  Well I bought it and flipped it on Craigslist for $35. It took me about a week though and probably because I couldn't figure out what to title it to attract the right viewers.

Garage Sale find Fish Tank Aquarium

I found this fish tank at a garage sale.  I didn't really think anything of it at first because I don't need one since our fish are in a bigger one already.  However, my 10 year old daughter said she wanted it so she could have fish in her own room. I asked how much and the older woman said $5 so I continued looking around, then, the woman asked me if I would take it for $2. I turned around and said, "yes".  It is brand new and has never been used but had been sitting in her garage. It came with a brand new filter, aquarium decor and brand new rocks. I am guessing it was originally purchased for around $40.

I bought a desk from a garage sale about a year ago for $10 and sold it today for $50.  Nice profit, can't complain. Thank you Craigslist!

Flipped A Baby Changing Table

Baby Changing Table Garage Sale Flip
I bought this baby changing table at a garage sale for $5 and turned around and flipped it shortly after for $35. I probably could have gotten more for it but it's okay. It's very nice but my daughter is 3 and no longer wears diapers so I didn't keep it.

How to spend $2 for a $25 restaurant gift certificate

Hi,
I have 5 kids and saving money is my name.  Okay, I am a straight to the point kind of person so lets cut to the chase.  The website that you need to go to in order to start saving money when eating out at restaurants is  restaurant.com but first you need to sign up with U-Promise.com and I'll tell you why. Usually, if you shop for the gift certificates directly at restaurant.com you will have to wait for the promotional emails to receive the $2 deals.  If you sign up with upromise.com and then go through their restaurant.com link, they mostly offer further discounts on the gift certificates plus you accrue savings in your u-promise account for going through them (usually .30 cents for me). In addition to these savings, I also use my Chase Rewards card to purchase the gift certificates, so the savings add up! The only catch is you can usually only one gift certificate per restaurant per month but that's okay because you can just visit a different restaurant.
